With the theme “Inroads to Health Equity: Social Drivers of Health and Health Systems Reform,” the Tennessee Conference will feature engaging sessions on advocacy, policy solutions, and innovative strategies for improving health outcomes.
We welcome proposals that focus on practical strategies, essential skills, and innovative tools needed to drive meaningful change in the development of programs, legislation, and policies aimed at improving health care access and equity. This Tennessee Conference serves as a premier platform, bringing together health care academics, administrators, policymakers, students, medical professionals, researchers, and community advocates. Attendees will engage in insightful discussions, interactive workshops, and collaborative sessions designed to address key challenges, explore policy solutions, and promote effective health care strategies that benefit all Tennesseans.

- Proposal notifications will be sent on or by Friday, May 23, 2025
- Presenters are responsible for their own conference registration and travel accommodations
- Presenters will be asked to share materials such as slide decks, handouts, etc, for distribution following the conference.

Proposals should cover research or analysis of initiatives, programs, collaborations, or other policies that improve access to care or improve social drivers of health as they relate to: income and social protection, unemployment and job security, social inclusion and non-discrimination, or access to affordable health services of decent quality. Please choose one social driver as the focus of your presentation. Proposal formats include individual podium presentations, panels, or interactive workshop formats that would be 50 minutes in length with at least 10 minutes for questions and answers. Please specify audiovisual needs.
